Founded by local families who moved to Pend Oreille County seeking a better life, our organization was created to solve a common challenge: staying connected in a rural community. Posting an event is 100% free. There are no limits on how many events you can submit. Our goal is to help local businesses promote events, increase visibility, and attract more customers without paying fees or dealing with posting restrictions.

To submit an event, go to the Contact Us page and provide your event details. Most events are reviewed and posted within 1–3 business days. Submitting complete information helps speed up the approval and publishing process.

You can promote a wide range of local events, including business promotions, live music, grand openings, community meetings, markets, festivals, school events, sports events, garage sales, and estate sales. We support events that help bring the community together.

We only promote family-friendly, community-focused events. Events may be declined if they include adult content, restricted access, or do not align with our mission of supporting safe, inclusive, and local community engagement.

You can volunteer by joining our event planning committee or helping with specific events. Visit the Contact Us page to apply. Volunteers help organize, promote, and run community events while building connections with local businesses and residents.

Volunteer meetings are held quarterly, with additional meetings scheduled before major events. We also use the BAND app to communicate and coordinate. Meeting locations vary and are typically hosted at local businesses in the community.

Businesses can sponsor events by contributing funds or supporting a specific event. Sponsors receive recognition on our website and at the event, plus promotional visibility. All event-specific contributions go directly toward that event and its marketing.

Yes we are officially a 501(c)(3) organization recognized by the state of Washington.

We accept donations through Zeffy, or personally by check. Your donation can go towards an event we sponsor that you would like to be part of, or through the organization as a whole. We are a volunteer run nonprofit, so every dollar goes directly toward Pend Oreille Events helping the community.

Yes, we work with local businesses to increase event attendance and visibility. With experience in managing small businesses, we provide ideas for marketing, promotion, and community engagement to help make events more successful.

Yes, we may promote events within 10 miles of Newport, Washington, including nearby areas like Priest River, Idaho. Larger regional events may also be featured if they provide value to the local community.
