EARTH DAY ART WALK: END OF APRIL ANNUAL AND ORGANIZED BY THE CREATIVE ARTS DISTRICT

The North Idaho Herbal Festival is an exciting and new two-day event in the picturesque town of Spirit Lake. This gathering is dedicated to our theme: ‘Rooted in Tradition, Growing in Community.’ Together, we’ll explore how to cultivate a deeper connection with the natural world through herbal education, a holistic approach to health, and include art for the soul through a vibrant nature-based marketplace.
The annual Big Foot Festival in Metaline Falls is not one to miss. Come shop vendors, live music and educational speeches in Northern Pend Oreille County.
Ione Down River Days: A fabulous event the last weekend of July. Watch either from the water or the shore. Snowmobiles ride across the Pend Oreille River at the Ione City Park. Vendors and Food are on shore. Note to attendees: Get their early and bring shade, water and chairs. Parking can be difficult. Note to boaters: Be sure to bring a solid dragging anchor instead of a river anchor. The current flows strong and without the proper anchor you will continue to have to reset.

The Kalispel Tribe of Indians put on an incredible event at the pow-wow grounds in Usk, WA. This event is annual and held the first weekend of August.
The Pend Oreille County Fair in Cusick, WA. Come shop vendors, view displays, watch competitions and see the rodeo. Tickets get you in all weekend. Always the 3rd weekend in August.

NEWPORT RODEO & PARADE: The biggest annual event of Newport is always the last weekend in June. The parade starts at Grizzly Row (In the Newport School District parking lot) and continues around town and down Washington Ave. The Rodeo has 3 nights of operation.
