WHAT TO EXPECT: ENJOY THE ANNUAL LIGHTING OF NEWPORTS TOWN TREE. THIS YEAR, CHILDREN FROM THE NEWPORT PARENT CO-OP PRESCHOOL WILL START THE COUNTDOWN.

SANTA WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SELF TAKEN PHOTOS, VOTE FOR NEWPORTS BEST COOKIE. MORE FESTIVITIES YEAR AFTER YEAR!

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING BEGINS AT 5PM.

COST: THIS EVENT IS FREE TO THE COMMUNITY

Saturday, Dec. 6, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Location:  Ponderosa Ballroom, Newport Community Hospital (corner of Spruce and Scott in Newport)

• FREE Santa photos and holiday crafts for children

• FREE refreshments

• $1 raffle tickets (winners drawn at the Gala that evening); winners will be called and instructed to pick up their prize trees on Monday, Dec. 8. You do not need to be present to win.

• All raffle participants must be 18 years or older, and ticket sales are in-person only. Play responsibly; call 1-800-GAMBLER for help.

Note: All raffle trees will be at the event this year … one day only! 

Parking during the event

• Entrance to the event is at the corner of Spruce Street and Scott Avenue through the double doors. Look for festive lights!

• Please park in Lot B (across the street from the hospital), along Spruce Street, OR behind the hospital in Lot D. Lot A is reserved for hospital patients 24 hours per day.
